	SuperTrak EX8760T/8768 6Gb SAS Controllers are designed to provide high performance and high throughput while delivering cutting edge features and unparalleled reliability. Built from the ground-up using PMC Sierra's state-of-the-art 8011 I/O processor coupled with up to 512MB of DDR2 Memory, PROMISE's world class enterprise proven RAID Engine and an 8x PCIe Express 2.0 interface, SuperTrakEX 6Gb SAS Controllers are the most versatile and reliable SAS Controllers in the storage industry today.
The SuperTrak EX8760T/8768 6Gb SAS Controllers feature list is the most comprehensive in the business supporting Hardware Accelerated RAID levels such as RAID 5, RAID 6, RAID 50, RAID 60 in addition to Automatic Array Rebuild, Array Expansion, Array Migration, Bad Sector Remapping, Dedicated Hot Spares, Hot Plug, Hot Swap, Online Firmware Updates (update from OS), SPGIO for backplane management and SES II for management of external devices such as the PROMISE J-Class JBOD Subsystem. The Media Patrol feature allows predictive scanning of hard drives to determine if and when the hard drive may become usable, copying all data to a designated spare disk before the drive actually fails saving time and potential data loss.
	Force Unit Access (FUA) combined with the Battery Backup Unit (BBU) provides the ultimate piece of mind in the event of power loss. FUA forces all data to be immediately written to the hard drive therefore eliminating the possibility of data residing in the cache of the hard drive minimizing data loss when the power is interrupted. The BBU ensures that any data in the cache on the SuperTrakEX SAS Controller is preserved for up to 72 hours on a full charge.

	WebPAM Pro is PROMISE's feature rich Web Management Tool that allows easy and extensive management of PROMISE SuperTrak EX8760T/8768 6Gb RAID Controllers. With WebPAM Pro, SuperTrak EX8760T/8768 6Gb RAID Controller features and functionality can be easily accessed and configured. Need to disable cache on the hard drives? No problem. Need to setup email notification for critical or non-critical events? No problem. How about monitoring battery charging status and or checking the health of a hard drive? Once again, not a problem.
