How does KinSwitch work?

Micro Energy Acquisition Technology can capture, convert and store the Kinetic energy into electricity. There are different kinds of micro energy. The most accessible source among them is mechanical energy. The energy transferring efficiency can reach up to 90% by our patented technology - Electromagnetic Conversion Device. Under the pressure of hands or other objects the micro energy collecting device, like generator, can generate electricity instantly to drive the electronic components to work. 

In order to ensure the reliability of wireless transmission multiple techniques are employed in the communication protocol. To prevent interference, handshake protocol is integrated with precise algorithm and a 32-bit address. For one switch on/off action  communication protocols are sent three times. The receiver is only need to receive one signal which can work properly. The AC Switch does not need the battery to operate.

Setup in just 3 seconds

Receiver setup:

1. Locate the wire powering your light (for both freestanding and built-in)

2. Cut the wire into two.  

3. Remove the PVC sheath (enough for the wire inside the main power cable to be fit in the receiver) 

4. Locate the wire inside the main power cable (Live line, Neutral line) *for some countries there will also be an earth line inside, it is not needed for the receiver, seal the end of the earth line with electrical tape to prevent leakage. 

5. Remove the PVC insulator on the live lines and neutral lines, leaving the copper conductors showing 

6. Unscrew the screws on the receiver. 

7. Follow the instructions at the back of the receiver and insert the wires for input and output. 

8. Make sure the screws on the receiver is tight, so that the wires inserted won’t loosen out.

Our receiver is small enough to hide in the ceiling or next to the light. It would not affect design of your light. We also recommend that you can place your receiver inside or next to your consumer unit for centralized control

Customers can select the closest SF stations from their working or living areas when placing orders for picking up the products.
